Termite Inspections for Real Estate Transactions
Often the sale or financing of a home is contingent upon an inspection for termites. The State of Florida provides a form specifically for this purpose, called a Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) Report. Only those licensed and trained specifically in the field of termite control or an employee of a licensed termite company may perform this aspect of a home inspection. Because banks and buyers often require a termite inspection as a condition of financing or sale, this is an imports part of the pest control industry. Green Pest Services is happy to provide Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) Reports for realtors and their clients.
Pricing varies based on the size and situation of a given home, but typically inspections cost less than $150.

Pre-Construction Termite Treatment
Because termites cause more damage annually than all manner of natural disasters combined, the State of Florida requires that before concrete is poured on any new construction project, the soil upon which the structure will be built must be treated for termites. This is commonly referred to as a pre-treatment. Green Pest Services offers this form of termite treatment to contractors and home owners. Protecting what is for most people their greatest investment is important. GPS is here for you and will provide a written contract guaranteeing your property against termites for at least one year on all pre – & post-construction termite treatments.
